the Wonderful Team Member Readership Award! (and another crown of laurels!)

the "Wonderful Team Member Readership Award"Wow wee! So do will a chaplet or a corolla be conferred upon Us for being a Wonderful Reading Team Member?

I was nominated by this ever-blissful Sammiwitch over at the Life and Times of a Forever Witch

1. Don’t forget to thank the blogger bestowed this honorific upon you and link back to their site as well (don’t forget the “http://”!)

2. Display the award logo on your blog.

3. Nominate no more than fourteen readers of your blog you appreciate and leave a comment on their blogs to let them know about the award.

4. Finish this sentence: “A great reader is…” (I like this one…it’s a bit different than the other award-acceptance prerequisites…)

“Unspoken Rule Five”, as everyone knows, is you don’t have to participate, but you do have to feel secretly honored…my favorite part about these rules is revising them as I see fit. I’m not just a monarch in my head, I like to play Goddess! Whoa!

“A great reader is someone who reads voraciously and for fun–is my first impulse for an answer. However a great BLOG reader does all of these things AND let’s you know that your efforts are appreciated, their “likes” warm your heart but those who fly above and beyond by leaving comments just make your day. Don’t get me wrong, I adore receiving both, but that first person who leaves a comment is opening the door to a conversation. That’s where the TEAM comes in, even on a blog written by one person. Reader participation makes a difference. Team effort. YEAH!”...Yes, That was much longer than a sentence…it was just a run-on sentence. Sorry, once you get to a certain level where you know all the rules of grammar, they let you toss it out the window in the name of artistic license. (Yeah Professor Stern! RAH!)

The following bloggers (and their blogs which if you aren’t reading, READ THEM, MINIONS OR YOU SHAN’T HAVE THE CRUST OFF MY BRIOCHE TO EAT! *Sorry, like to jump in-and-out of character at times*…where was I? Oh yes. These bloggers fit my definition of a Great Blog Reader to a T…which, upon re-reading my definition, actually makes them ideal novel readers and excellent language students as well, I’ve just figured out.

A Map of Time: a Trip into the Past

Ghost Cities

Versailles Gossip

Paris 1972

Sisters, Saints and Sluts

Lorraine’s Oo-la-la

People, Places and Bling

Bucket List Publications

Witches Can Be Right

I’d like to abjectly thank all of the above bloggers and my nominator, Sammiwitch, for routinely stopping by and leaving their two cents of encouragement in response to my shiny silliness! You guys encourage me to soldier on with this endeavor, which as a pessimist…well, we know what pessimists anticipate.

¡Muchísimas graçias para vuestro apoyo! Os lo agradezco un mazo…

Big congratulations! Well deserved, I’ve learned a few new things from your blog in the short time I’ve been following.

And thanks again for the nomination.

Thanks very kind of you to do this freely; I am not into awards thus, just do my restful self in writing on what I like, competition breath discontent. Cheers

  3. Bravo!! I’m now off to check out the other Tiara-worthy sites. Enjoy the weekend! T. (And thanks for the regal shout-out. I appreciate it.)

it's not just a love-affair with my own voice
