Your Blog Hostess has agonized over the first post of the New Year. Feels like it should have the gravitas of a commemorative plate. Tiaras & Trianon: a limited edition from the Franklin Mint. Ha!
Thus it is only fitting we start 2015 with some humor. I was never a fan of Friends but a friend and I had a crush on Conan in college when he still did Letterman’s time slot. Yes. We we stoned.
There you go, a little something personal too. Happy New Year kids!
Happy New Year! I read this article about a tiara show put on by the Queen and Elton John–and thought of you! http://bit.ly/1uaoN1e

Hoping to get caught up on all of your posts that I have fallen woefully behind on.

Same here! I haven’t opened WP for two weeks…such a bum. Guess I should get my act together & catch up on my friends.
Happy New Year to you too, Jen!

Happy New Year that’s almost one month old!
I believe that we should call this the Year of the Diamond Tiara, and with each succeeding year name it with some other item from a lady’s parure: Silver-Backed Bowknot, Emerald Clasps, Ruby Bracelets, etc. It could go on forever, to create decades of glittering fun!
